Metropolitan Tychikos, through his legal representatives, states that he will remain in Paphos until the final judgment of Cypriot—and if necessary European—Justice, reserves his rights against those who publish defamatory material without verification, and clarifies that the house purchased for him by his family is being rented out, while he himself is being hosted by a family he knows.

The statement from Metropolitan Tychikos's legal representatives notes that "he reserves all his rights for every defamatory fact published against him without verification against anyone whatsoever.

This house of 65-70 sq.m. which his family purchased for him when the then Metropolitan of Paphos and current Archbishop wanted to expel him from the Metropolitan premises as Protosyncellus at the time, because he had not been vaccinated, is being rented and managed by his family.

Metropolitan Tychikos resides in Paphos with a family he knows that is hosting him.

He remains in Paphos until an irrevocable decision of the Courts of Cyprus, and if necessary of the European Court of Human Rights.

He has trust in God and in Justice.

From the Office of legal representation of His Eminence Metropolitan (former) of Paphos Tychikos, by His Order".
